In 2014 we designed the autopilot steering on a LNG tanker in Singapore with the aim that it would remain failure-free with standard maintenance.
The system was design with Lloyd class approval, with low noise and low vibration output. Being built modular, our team can change the system out in under 2 hours.
The steering system was also built leak free, and in 2022 remains so. With our regular preventative maintenance, the system has proven failure-free 9 years from when we initially installed it.
